Arctic Cub — ToneCoat Pigment Blend
Arctic Cub is a clean, cool-toned neutral designed to soften the natural pink base of MultiFinish plaster and bring it toward a gentle grey/blue/white tone. It creates a calm, airy, modern finish with a subtle cool undertone, ideal for contemporary spaces, minimalist interiors, and areas where you want a brighter, lighter feel without using pure white paint.
Shade Profile
- Tone: Light grey/blue/white with a soft, cool undertone
- Character: Clean, fresh, modern
- Finish: Natural matte plaster
- Works well with: Charcoal, soft greys, white, black accents, natural oak, stone
What’s Included
Each ToneCoat pigment bag contains a precisely measured blend designed to tint one full 25kg bag of British Gypsum MultiFinish.
The blend provides:
- Consistent, repeatable colour
- A simple one-bag-to-one-bag mix ratio
- Professional mineral oxide pigments
- UV stability and strong colour durability
How to Use
- Add the full ToneCoat pigment bag to your clean water.
- Mix thoroughly until the water is evenly tinted.
- Add your MultiFinish plaster and mix as normal.
- Apply as standard. Your plaster will dry to the Polar Cub shade.
Performance, working time and spread remain identical to standard MultiFinish.
Who It’s For
Polar Cub is suitable for both professionals and DIY users.
It produces a clean, subtle modern tone directly from the trowel, creating a finished look without the need for paint in most standard interior rooms.
Colour Variation Notice
British Gypsum MultiFinish can vary slightly in its natural base shade.
ToneCoat pigments are formulated to reduce this variation, but minor differences may occur between plaster batches. These small shifts contribute to the natural appearance typical of real plaster surfaces.
